2022 Festive Season Hamper #1

This Festive Season we’ve packed a hamper of treats for the grown-ups.

Fat Pig Farm Botanical Gin, mouthwatering mustard, home-grown and hand-ground polenta, Pommeau Apple Liquor and delicately spiced biscuits to send you merrily into a festive summer.

This Festive Season the Fat Pig Farm hamper brings together hand-made, home-grown goodies from our farm, with a couple of treats from mates nearby.

Our new summer Botanical Gin (200ml) features Tasmanian Correa leaf from our bush foods garden. It’s distilled for us by Natalie Fryer from the Abel Gin Co. The bottle is sealed with bees wax and the gin will gently tint to a light green tea colour as it ages.

In autumn this year, our gorgeous flint corn, with it’s yellow, orange, purple and white kernels, was harvested and saved for you because it’s a true polenta variety that’s hard to find in the shops. We’ve done the hard yards and hand-ground 70gm into a flavorsome polenta ready to cook with one of Matthew’s recipes, or your own invention.

To spread on your Boxing Day left-over ham sandwiches, Chef Charlie adds her mouthwatering French-style mustard (120ml) made with verjuice, local white wine vinegar, allspice and cloves to your hamper.

We couldn’t go past the Charles Oates’ rich pommeau (200ml), made from Huon Valley heirloom apples soaked in apple spirit and aged for over 12-months in apple brandy casks. Chef Niccola’s now-famous festive spiced biscuits (150gm) are a perfect accompaniment!

Orders close on Monday 5 December. Hampers will be posted the week commencing 5 December.
