We really like winemaker Sam Connew’s Stargazer wine. And we really like Sam Connew. So we’re delighted to host Sam at a special winemaker’s lunch at Fat Pig Farm. Anyone who has tasted Stargazer Tupelo at one of our feasts will know what a treat this leisurely afternoon at our long table will be.  Sam will be on hand to talk about the Stargazer Riesling and Pinot Noir from her Coal River Valley vineyard as well as some other wines from her current range made from specially selected Tasmanian grape growers. She’ll take you through the Stargazer story, what she loves about Tasmania and her plans for Stargazer. We’ll serve you dishes straight from our gardens and paddock – all seasonal, all grown by hand, and all cooked in our open kitchen . Everything possible will be sourced from within the farm itself and matched with wine made, poured, and explained by Sam and special guest Nat Fryer (ex-Jansz) with the first public outing for her inaugural sparkling Rose from her new solo label. It will be a unique and personal experience sharing good food and good wine at our long table.
