Saturday Gin Feast – 23 June

Sometimes, we do things because they’re worthy. Or have a message that will resonate with people long after they’ve gone home. And sometimes we do things simply because we reckon they’ll be great fun. That’s why we’re hosting a gin lunch on Saturday, June 23. Matthew and the gang will cook up a long table Fat Pig Farm Feast (if you’ve been to one of our feasts then you know that it’s a long lazy afternoon with lashings of farmhouse food all grown, reared and cooked on the farm) and the extraordinarily talented Natalie Fryar (Abel Gin) will be curating gins and long gin drinks to match.

We’ve been dreaming about a gin lunch for a while. And then we met Nat who served her Bellebonne sparkling alongside Sam Connew’s Stargazer wines on the farm earlier this year. Nat is a revered maker of sparkling wine and she also distils the incredible Essence and Quintessence (of Tasmania) gins, so before you could say “juniper berry” it all came together.  We might even combine Nat’s talents and make a sparkling gin cocktail. I don’t think we need to say much more? Do we? Join us!
