As spring starts thinking about summer, the soil warms up and the garden harvest becomes more abundant. Join us to learn about good soil for good food, compost, propagation and growing edible plants.
If you’re ready to start a veggie garden or want more skills to get the most out of the one you have, this is the weekend for you. The jewel of any garden, Nadia Danti, will lead this workshop. She will be joined by Mike Layfield who is the cook, gardener and co-owner of Felds Farm, and Sadie Chrestman who’ll share her hands-on experience as well as the Fat Pig Farm philosophy and practice. There’ll be heaps of good Fat Pig Farm food to inspire you. We’ll feed you all weekend and Sadie will be hosting an optional dinner on the Saturday night. $430 for two full days, plus $90 for Saturday dinner. Head over to Goodlife Permaculture for lots more information as well as how to book.
