Kitchen Basics

There’s no shame in having forgotten to learn to cook, only possibility! In this one day hands-on, small group workshop, Gourmet Farmer Matthew Evans will take you from the garden to the stove, showing how simple it is to roll pasta, make ice-cream, tie sausages, bake bread, knock up a proper frittata and more. This is the class most of us wished we’d done in our twenties, and never did. The good news is it’s never too late to learn. This is the class, and these are the skills, you can use every day in the kitchen. The workshop includes welcome coffee, morning tea, and will finish with a large, late lunch, including the dishes you’ve made, and other goodies from the farm kitchen. The day includes full notes, a personalised copy of Matthew’s Kitchen Basics cookbook, along with bread and sausages to take home.
