Autumn is harvest time. A time to revel in the generosity of the garden. Join us as we take you through the garden to choose the best of its abundant produce and then into the kitchen to cook an autumn farmhouse feast.
We’ll start with coffee at the kitchen, then head down to meet Head Gardener, Nadia Danti, who will give us a tour of the garden and guide us to the best autumnal produce to fill our baskets. We’ll say hello to the pigs and then head back to the kitchen for a hearty morning tea. Then it’s time to roll up our sleeves and, under Matthew’s guidance, cook up a truly seasonal meal of what we’ve sourced. At the end of the day we’ll sit down and share a late lunch; a farmhouse feast including the dishes you’ve created matched with our favourite southern Tasmanian wines. It is a day of great food along with plenty of laughter and learning.
